About Us
The Waipahu Hongwanji Mission Adult Day Care Center (WHMADCC) first opened its' doors in 1998. We are a non-profit organization owned and operated by the Waipahu Hongwanji Mission, however, ALL DENOMINATIONS are more than welcome to join us. We are a fully-certified adult day care center located in the heart of the old Waipahu Plantation Town. Our bright, spacious, open-feel facility fosters a healthy and safe environment for everyone, which contributes to a higher quality of life for all of our members. We invite everyone to come and visit our facility and see for yourself why many of our past and present members consider WHMADCC to be one of the best adult day care centers in Hawaii.
Our goal, first and foremost, is to enrich the daily lives of each and every one of our valued "family" members and to enrich their quality of life. We try to accomplish this through love, compassion and a deep commitment to the most attentive care possible. We often refer to our clients as our ADCC family members and we try to treat them as such. This results in the establishment of close and meaningful friendships which last throughout the years. Our clients' happiness and well-being is our number one goal and we assure you that we are fully committed to achieving this goal each and every day.
Our Goal
Our staff of caring, dedicated and conscientious caregivers is experienced and knowledgeable in dealing with the needs and requirements of your loved one. Close bonds are established through personalized care and by developing an atmosphere of trust between staff and members. We are truly blessed to have such caring and compassionate staff members and we are sure that your loved one will feel the same.
